Merit Essential Oil Diffuser
Rating: 5/5
thinking that it is actually made out of wood.
Overall, the device is very beautiful and could be used as a decorative piece when it isn't being plugged in.
Removing the top part reveals the water tank, where a combination of water and essential oil should be placed. The manufacturer has also included a little container which helps the user fill up the tank.
According to the specifications, the maximum volume of liquid that should be used is 400mL.
Using the oil diffuser is pretty easy. Below I describe the steps to get the device working:
1. Connect the DC jack to the base of the device.
2. Fill the tank with water and add a drop or two of essential oil.
3. Place the power plug in the wall socket.
4. Press the "Mist" button. The user can choose between 1H,3H,6H or continuous usage.
5. Press the "Light" button to turn on the LEDs. Pressing it again will cause them to change color.
Additionally, the intensity of the mist can be adjusted by constantly pressing on the "Mist" button.
One beep indicates high mode, while two beeps indicate low mode.
As an added bonus, the device can identify whether or not there is any water in the tank.
In case no water is existent the device automatically shuts off.
After the device has been started, there is immediately a mist of water coming out of the vent.
Instead of heating the water to its boiling point, the diffuser is using ultrasonics to vaporize it.
Due to the ultrasonic plate being used, the device is very quite, while the steam exiting the vent is cool instead of hot.
Lastly, the power adapter that has been included by the manufacturer is rated at 24V @ 650mA, while the length of the cord is around 2 meters long.
The DC adapter is attached to the bottom side of the diffuser and it doesn't interfere with the stability of the device at all.
