BARTON Quick Release Leather Watch Strap

The band is made out of leather, which is a great match with formal dress watches.
Despite the thickness of the leather, I was actually amazed by the fact that the band is very soft
and doesn't even need to be broken in.

The stitching is flawless, while all the holes are clear and nicely spaced.
In addition, the buckle is highly polished and the dual buckle loops are perfect for tightly securing
the extra length of the band.

Of course, the main attraction to this band is its quick release mechanism.
Using it, the user can easily install and uninstall the band without the need of any tools.
In order to engage the quick release, the little knob has to be pushed back which causes the lug pin to retract.
Once the knob is released, the pin returns to its original position, as it is spring loaded.

The mechanism makes the band switching an easy task and should be a feature that is adopted by other manufacturers.
All in all, the quality of the band is top notch.
