TURNMEON RC Flying Ball Aircraft
The flying ball aircraft is a nice toy for kids.
The apple shaped helicopter is very light yet it's quite durable.
I have found that the integrated battery is able to provide around 8 minutes of flying time.
In order to recharge the battery, the included charging cable must be attached to a regular 5V smartphone charger and each full charge cycle takes around 30 minutes.
The operation of the helicopter is very simple.
Once the power switch is flipped, the toy stars flying and blinking its lights.
When the maximum altitude is reached, it starts declining slowly.
In order to keep it flying, the user must place his hand under the bottom of the toy which causes it to gain altitude once again.
The integrated proximity sensor seems to be working well, as it easily captures all the hand movements.
Something else that I noticed is the fact that the longer the hand stays under the helicopter, the greater the altitude gain it will result in.
Lastly, in order to take down the helicopter, the remote's button has to be constantly pressed.
Once pressed, the proximity sensors is turned off, which allows the device to slowly land on the user's hand.
