Aukey 16000mAh Powerbank

Rating 5/5

The Aukey 16000mAh Power Bank is an excellent accessory for every smartphone owner.

It's made out of matte black plastic yet it feels very strong and durable.
The main button is LED backlit and is used to indicate the energy remaining on the powerbank.
More specifically: Red -> 0-20%, Green -> 20 - 80%, White -> 80% - 100%

I have used the power bank with multiple devices and so far it has been performing great.
In total, there are 2 USB output ports. One of them are rated at 1A, while the third supports fast charging as it's rated at 2.1A. It is also worth noting that this particular port supports Qualcomm's Quick Charge 2.0.
The rated capacity is 16000mAh and seems to be accurate as I am able to recharge my 4000mAh phone around 3.5 times before the battery of the bank runs out.

The charging of the power bank is accomplished via a regular microUSB cable (included in the box). The maximum current that it is able to draw during charging is 2A. This means that the estimated time of a full charge is 8 hours.
During charging, the LED changes colors according to the battery level in order to notify the user about the percentage of the battery.
Despite the high charging current, the device doesn't get warm at all which indicates a well designed
charging circuitry.

Last but not least, there is also an LED on the side of the device which allows it to be used as a flashlight. Constrantly pressing on the power button causes the LED to power on.
Overall, I have been making really good use of the power bank and I have found it very useful.
