ieGeek In Ear Headphones

Rating: 5/5

The ieGeek earphones are a great value for money.

The 10mm drivers are housed inside a matte black, metal casing which has some glossy details.
Despite not being braided, the cables are thick and the silicon that is being used makes them very flexible.
As with most quality made earphones, there is a plastic over-molding on the places that the cable gets
connected with other components. As a result all of the weak spots are reinforced and the longevity
of the product is increased.

The earphones produce a very well balanced output.
As expected, the bass is quite powerful and starts from very low, while the rest of the frequencies
are clear with no distortions being noticed even on maximum output level.
In order to test the integrated mic, I made a couple of calls and it turns out that the mic is more than
good for day to day usage.

It is pretty obvious that the operation of the headphones is pretty simple.
There is only one button which enables the user to answer/refuse calls, play/pause music and jump to next/previous song, depending on the amount of times the button is pressed.

Except from the silicon eartips that were installed in the drivers, there were another three sets of them included in the box.
Additionally, there was also a plastic clip that allows the headphones to be secured on the user's clothing.
