MHD Pro Curling Wand

The curling wand by MHD is a very well made device.
Its handle is rubberized for increased grip while the heating surface of the curler is ceramic coated.
Due to the ceramic used, the surface of the heating element is very smooth and the heat is evenly spread across.

The width of the barrel is thick (32mm), which means that the wand is able to curl a large amount of hair at the same time.
The handle of the device is very comfortable, while the end point of the power cable is free spinning in order to keep it from getting tangled.
Another thing that I liked about the iron is its big, thick power cord.

Of course, the operation of the curling wand is very simple.
Once plugged in, the power button has to be pressed for 6 seconds in order to power up the device.
After powered on, the LED display will blink with the desired temperature of the curler.
Using the + and - buttons the user can adjust the desired temperature (100-210C).

Thank to the 75W rating of the device, its heat up time is really fast.
Once the user has set the temperature it takes around 30 secs to get the ceramic barrel to its operating temperature.
As an added bonus, the device also has build in protection that will shut if off after 30 minutes of use for safety purposes.

The wand arrived inside a nice looking cardboard box.
The box also included a detailed user manual, while the wand itself was wrapped inside bubble wrap.
