Aukey Laptop Cooling Pad

Rating: 5/5

The body of the cooler is made out of ABS plastic, while the cover of the fans is metal.
There are four rubber pads on the bottom of the device to keep it from slipping.
Overall, the construction feels very solid no squeaky noises have been encountered so far.

In total, there are four fans that are able to provide massive airflow to the back of your laptop.
Despite their high performance, the noise generated is very minimal and can't be heard during use.
As an added bonus, the fans are LED backlit. In more detail, the fans shine a vibrant blue color while they are running, whereas their light intensity depends on the speed that they have been set to operate.

The cooler angle can be adjusted to 5 different levels, with the maximum amount of inclination being around 50°.
Additionally, there are two feet in the back of the pad. Extending them allows for an increased angle to be achieved.
In order for the laptop to not slip while inclined, the pad makes use of two vertical feet which are mount in the front.

A definite advantage of the cooler is its rotary switch, which enables the user to select the desired level that the fans will spin.
In order for the fans to spin, one of the USB ports must be plugged to your laptop, while the additional port can be used as a regular USB port.

Except from the cooler itself, the box contained some manuals, a USB to USB cable as well as a couple of foam wedges to further reduce the possibility of the cooler slipping.
All in all, I have seen a  decrease of around 5 °C on my laptop's temperatures.
