WhiteLabel K100, Bluetooth earphones
Rating: 5/5
The driver casing is made out of plastic and has a rubber coating on it, while thecord is flat which means that it is also tangle free.
The red and black color scheme is definitely eye catching and make the headphones stand out.
Sound reproduction from the headphones is great.
Bass is surprising strong for a wireless device, while mid and high frequencies are balanced and sound clear. The output level is pretty high as well.
Lastly, thequality of the in-line microphone is perfect for making calls. The transmitted voice is clear
and static noises are non existent.
The pairing process is simple and it is described thoroughly in the included manual.
In order for the headset to enter the pairing mode, the center button has to be pressed for 7 seconds while the device is turned off.
After the paring mode has been initiated, the headphones will be discoverable by the smartphone's Bluetooth receiver.
There are 4 buttons in total which are used to accomplish different tasks according to current state of the smartphone.
Three of them are located on the controller, while the last one is located on the bottom side of the right ear piece.
Below there is a list of the basic actions that can be performed:
1. Adjust volume level (+ or - buttons)
2. Play/Pause music (center button)
3. Jump to next/previous song (constant + or - buttons, single/double press on mode button )
4. Answer call (center button)
5. Dismiss call (constant center button)
As far as battery life is concerned, I was able to get around 7 hours of continuous music playback, which is way beyond the manufacturer specifications, while it took around 2 hours and 10 minutes to get the battery fully charged after it had drained completely.
The charging is accomplished via a microUSB port, which is located under the left ear piece. The port is protected with a rubber flap so that the water can't damage any critical components.
